The Farm Table
The Culinary Arts Program, at Vancouver Island University, formed a partnership with Providence Farm in February 2013. and a new dining room, The Farm Table, opened April 25, 2013.
This program has been offered in the Cowichan Valley for the past 15 years, and starts every February. Interest in the program, from students and customers alike, is continually growing, and is one of Canada’s most sought after Culinary Arts Program. With a cornucopia of fresh ingredients and produce grown right here in the Valley, paired with innovative menu selections and presentation, and accompanied by our friendly service, we hope that you will be impressed.
Our students graduate into a world of opportunities. While some become Head Chefs, restaurateurs, and cookbook authors, all complement the growing and impressive food industry in Canada and beyond.
